Bread keeper is really useful if you bake your own bread as it keeps it fresh and dirt free (usually achieved by the bag bought bread comes in. It expands nicely to encompass even the largest loaf and then contracts to take up less space as the loaf is used. br / br /The slicer guide makes a huge difference as it gives you even slices like you get in pre-cut loaves from the store. My only gripe is that it has a plastic base that can be damaged by the bread knife. Shame the designers could not have used a mini chopping board for the base. br / br /As I have not found as similar product that is better I would recommend this to a home baked bread enthusiast.
