some keys stopped working July 29, 2008 Having had this keyboard (and loved it!) for just over 12 months, I'm very disappointed with it. One morning, 5 of the keys (spread around the keyboard) stopped working. And that was that. It's not due to ill treatment or coffee spillage...they just stopped working. And they are random keys. So there appears to be no logic to it. All of them went at the same time, and no more have gone since them (about 3 months now). Very frustrating. So I would have given it more stars, but...... Thanks Microsoft.....!
Broken keys and didn't work May 1, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bought this as a replacement for my ageing natural keyboard - got it home, was impressed with it... until I tried to type on it. Half the keys only worked if I really hit them repeatedly - while this caused friends on MSN amusement... it did prove a slight inconvenience when trying to work on the thing. After 2 days of struggling on with it I was experiencing worse wrist pain than I ever had before using "flat" keyboards and went back to my old, reliable natural keyboard.
Used it for a year: the best keyboard I've ever had. April 26, 2008 This is one of the very few products that's actually better than you think it's going to be. I use a computer nearly all day every day, for programming and normal writing. I suffer RSI in my forearms, but not with this keyboard. The way that they keys slope away from you seems strange for the first few minutes, but actually it's a brilliant idea. I really can't recommend this product enough, and usually I am disappointed with everything I buy!
intermittent, spongy keys, sticky space bar March 26, 2008 Like others here I had hoped that this keyboard would be as comfortable to use as my old Elite, but I'm afraid it is not.
I've had two of these keyboards now - the first one I retrned because it had an intermittent 'y' key, and this one, as you can see, has an intermittent 'u' key. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
In addition the space key is sometimes sticky, and sometimes not.
It's a real shame because otherwise the keyboard layout is excellent, the wrist rest works well, and I really like the additional keys.
If you get one that works then, great, bt neither of mine did!
Like typing on a wet sponge February 26, 2008 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
This keyboard is terrible. It's like typing on a wet sponge. And the space bar is sticky as well.
