Well I was a little hesitant at first, but once the semitonic filtration chamber reached three quarters capacity it worked a treat. No snaps, crackles pops or parity occlusions. As the previous reviewer mentioned the oil draining facility only adds to the sonic transparency. Clever? I think so..

All stainless steel apart from the obvious plastic handles. Heating element lifts out, the rest goes into the dishwasher. Also has draining tap on front (hidden) so you can drain oil out if you want to filter and replace. Heats up very quickly, and comes back to hot quickly when frozen food placed into it. Never froths over. Good sized basket. Temperature control with On light and At Temperature light. Definately recommended. Never had any issues with DeLonghi products, always reliable in my experience.
