Louder - but noise is louder too! November 13, 2008 Mr. Sasha Music (London, UK) I bougth these just for change as I am using similar Sony earphones for years now... The first obvious difference was the insanely loud sound you get with Senheisers! But this comes at the price unfortunatelly! The power is there at the expense of the sound quality. There is too much noise. This white noise is unbearable in between songs or if you're listening to a quiet classical piece... Bass is very powerfull but not quite as deep as with the same type Sony earphones... But for the outdoor use, these, being so loud, are acctually better! And you won't mind the noise to sound ratio in noisy envoroments anyway. I now tend to use them when riding my motorcycle, underneath my helmet, and appart from being capable of damaging my hearing, these are possibly the best choice for such use.
Best for the money September 9, 2008 P. Bramhall (UK) I usually but Falcon Pro Tone. They are a bit cheaper. Now I will only buy these br /Apple earbuds are not up to these. The apple and the Razors sound a bit unclear compared to these. The Razors have more base but for a random playing device playing varied music they're to sound too muddy. The Apple buds have less base but are clear on higher sounds. The Sony models I have used are all inferrior to the CX300. br /I use my CX300 at work in a factory or walking my dogs. None of the other units I bought, or standard issue with mp3 platers, can stand up to these. They sound so clear with a very rich base sound. The construction looks identical to the Razor pro Tone but they last much longer. br /The sound cancelling is awesome. It is so good that I won't use them fully inserted when walking dogs on roads. I will never use them riding on the road it is too dangerous. You hear nothing from outside your ears. Very good. br /Importantly, for me anyway, they have an L shaped jack so it is much stronger and doesn't catch everything.
Absolutely brilliant earphones August 20, 2008 N. McMahon (Surrey, England) I was previously impressed with the Creative Labs EP-630 earphones I bought a couple of years ago, but since the right ear stopped working, I decided to invest in a new pair. br / br /After trialing lots of different types of music with the CX300's, they are just perfect in every way. You truly can't hear anything once you have music playing, and the bass is brilliant! I have always been a fan of in-ear earphones and the fact that they give you 3 different sizes of rubber gromits to fit your ear is brilliant, I can even use the rubber gromits from my Creative Labs EP-630's as a spare if I lose these. I found the EP-600 rubber gromits came off quite easily if you got them caught somewhere, however the CX300's gromits seem much more secure. br / br /And for 17 you can't go wrong!
Brilliant sound quality August 13, 2008 R. Johnson (London, England) I bought this to replace the standard iPod headphones, which they have done, and then some. br / br /The rubber plugs on the end of the earphones do a good job of reducing outside noise, which meant that I was able to have my iPod at a much lower volume while on public transport or the gym. br / br /It has been said that you often hear a thudding sound when walking/jogging with these in as the earphones transfer vibrations. This is true, but the sound is much lower and less distracting than the background noise that isn't cut out/reduced with other earphones. Turning the volume up a bit soon overcomes the thudding problem. br / br /The earphones are comfortable, durable and give great sound quality. They also stay in while running on the treadmill (I haven't worn them while jogging outside).
awesome ones August 10, 2008 Mr. Maninder Singh just got them today under 20gbp and such a great voice clarity, thought i was not keen in spending 17 pounds on it, but still find bit delegate but good sound
