Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
SDCZ4-2048-E11: SanDisk Cruzer Micro USB Flash Drive is an incredibly small and fast USB Flash Drive (UFD) that connects to a computers USB port. It is USB 2.0 compatible so it is fast; and also comes with value added software CruzerLock and trial versions of both PocketCache and CruzerSync. Users can easily store their key documents, pictures, music and videoclips on a Cruzer Micro and transfer them to another computer with a USB port.

This is really tiny by most standards but dead easy to use. It does everything you expect it to and is excellent value for money.

4 out of 5 stars Very Small - Does what it says   December 14, 2007

This USB stick is very small and has a good capacity. You should be able to run a Linux distribution from it or a lot of media files without issue. Under Windows XP and Fedora Linux, there were not speed or compatibility issues. br / br /In use, the end glows green when accessed - a useful reminder that it is working. The end cap is in the same plastic as the main body (a kind of transparent skin) which does not have an 'eye' on it so that it can be attached to the main body. It is probable over time that it will get lost and is a common problem with many USB drives that fail to allow the user to keep the USB connector protected. br / br /The drive includes a number of applications for storing data items securely, but these have not been assessed. br / br /As with many other USB drives - they will work fine for some time. But as has been found, they do eventually fail with serious repercussions if there are no other copies of the data. If you are using this as backup media, do check it from time to time. br / br /Four stars on the basis that it the cap can (and probably will) get lost at some point. br / br /Update 1st Nov 2008: I can also add that it survived going through the washing machine. Let it dry out for a few days in a warm place and it should still work!

br / br /Well, I bought two of these.. br / br /They are nice and small with a grip texture to them.. br /Look nice and work well.. br / br /BUT br / br /It doesn't come with a strap or lace of any sort though it has a hole for one br / br /The cap isn't attached to the rest of the body in any way so I can see myself losing the cap in the near future. br / br /I'm thinking the slide out usb version may have been better. br / br /It does serve its purpose though, thats why I have given it 4 stars!

5 out of 5 stars It's tiny and it works   December 1, 2007

My old 512MB USB stick is about the size of my thumb (and I have big hands). This 2GB SanDisk stick is smaller than my pinky ! It works fine and fits USB ports that some other sticks are too big for. A bargain !.

3 out of 5 stars Annoyng LED   November 21, 2007

This USB stick does exactly what you'd expect, but I will say that when using on a Mac the LED is on continuously, even when the device has been ejected. This is a bit frustrating as I can never be sure that it's been properly ejected by the computer and that my data will be safe if I remove it. Another small point, mine didn't come with a lanyard as stated, and similar to previous reviewers i didn't get the USB stick featured in the main picture. Works fine though and is very small!
