With respect to the other reviewer, there are grooves inside both front and back to protect the scroll ball; so to protect the screen put the BB in with the screen facing the clip (this is also a more natural way to take out to answer phone). Admitedly this then partially obscures email LED, but the screen is protected. Camera seems covered then by flap also. I think this isn't a bad piece of kit. A bit delicate (leather scratched within an hour otherwise would have got a 5), but does what it's supposed to. Fair play to Greymobile who despatched within 3 days a piece of kit unavailable on the BB website for another month and cheaper also. If you have a 8310 and only the slip case - then buy this from Amazon.
