Sorry I had to review the item because the above decription reviews the BlackBerry and NOT the product above! br / br /The skin fits perfectly for my BlackBerry curve 8310 as well as the description of fitting the 8300. So dont be put off buying the product if you have the same model as me! br / br /The skin itself is very light, and though it is not as tight-fitting as the Ipod skins, it provides extra grip and in essence, covers the surfaces of the blackberry that are likely to become scratched quite easily (the back etc). this product also takes into account the buttons on the phone and has holes so that access to the various buttons - volume, power and ports - is very easy. br / br /i would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a skin that helps improve the grip of the phone and if they want their blackberry to remain unscathed!

Typing is not necessarily easier with this because you need to push harder. Call me an old-fashioned grouse, but I can't help but think that the most robust machine with the best buttons was the original Blackberry from about 4 years ago, the blue one with raised and distinct silver buttons. The fact that this case is made at all shows that the build quality has become less sturdy. br / br /So basically it'll protect your phone, although query why it needs the protection in the first place. I've dropped the old one everywhere, including down the loo, and after a suitable drying time it worked again! I wonder if the silicon case would survive modern British plumbing. br / br /
