I use mine to extend a keyboard with built in USB hub across my room from a shuttle media centre front USB2 port. Works flawlessly. Ignore the chap who says it won't work.

Great product, sturdy and provides very good connectivity. I use it to control my DSLR and it works very well with a quick response time. br / br /If you need a long USB extension, consider this one, its of good quality and well worth a few pounds. br / br /If ordering from Amazon be prepared for this item to be delivered in a box you could fit about 20 of these in.

Great product, very well built with tight connections. I've used these to extend an IR keyboard / mouse receiver a Microsoft Media Centre receiver with no problems at all. I've also used this to connect my joystick so I can relax on the sofa and still play games.
