5 out of 5 stars sleek small kind of like your minidisc - funny that   September 19, 2005

People keep harping on about how small it is. Do you have eyes can you not see, can you not read. This case is designed to look after your minidisc if you're looking to hold your minidisc collection aswell you probably will be dissapointed unless your minidisc is wafer thin. Mine an MZ-NHF800 hogs all the space I tried once to keep a minidisc in the case with it but it looked like it was going to split a seam so I took it out. Whats the deal with the complaint about not being able to keep your remote in the bag? Thats like duct tapping you tv remote to the tv and getting up to change channels? yes its small but so is your minidisc that part of the reason you bought it I'm sure so lets keep it small then. If you're looking for a tog bag to keep you noise cancelling sennheiser headphones and your left over MCdonalds chips in you're in the wrong place but if you want protection for you minidisc this is perfect and it sits unobtrusively on your belt. If you're shopping for a humvee don't buy a daihatsu and complain about boot space.

5 out of 5 stars People shouldn't complain so much   September 19, 2005

I have an MZ-NFH800 trust me its not the slimmest minidisc player around I bought it cause it had a radio on I could stick a standard battery in it without the dorky attachments other players have. Bassicly this is a case to hold your minidisc player if you're looking for a case to hold your minidisc + remote +3 discs you're looking in the wrong place. My minidisc lives in this case because it keeps it scratch free and (living in South Africa) disguises my precious thus making me less of a target (its not that bad but I don't take chances like that). I got this case mostly cause it was the only one available that was designed for a minidisc player and not a CD player. Hell you got a minidisc cause its smaller and cooler than a cd player or an ipod why the heck do you want a giant case. The discs can go in another bag and now with 1 gig discs you don't even really need more than one on a days outing. Its small you can see that from the picture maybe the two minidiscs are false advertising, I have certainly never succesfully kept my minidisc and even a single minidisc in the case but like I said my player is a fatty. Whats the deal with wanting to keep your remote in the case? Thats just stupid its a remote thats like tapping the tv remote to the tv and getting up to change chanels! The low down - its small it sits neatly on your belt (mine didn't come with an arm band dunno why?) it keeps your precious safe it even bounces a little when dropped. Has a funky rubber zip thing which I think is cool. Its neoprene, is that not the coolest material on the planet plus you're already cool cause you own a minidisc and not a fashionada ipod. BTW Sony is about to kill ipod have a look at the upcoming 20 gig mp3 players - small, pretty, sony, what more could you ask for.pProblemsbrIts small, but I think thats a benefit. It won't fit your minidiscs unless your player is skiny hello 1 gig discs 2 = a ridiculous amount of music if you're traveling you have a bag so put the dam little disc in your bag. My minidisc has to go in face down cause of the way the remote plugs in but then I have a remote so I don't need to press buttons. pGranted if you need a tog bag for your minidisc accessories this really isn't for you but if you are looking for a sleek bag to protect your investment in the least obtrusive manner this is it. it is only what it says it is. People should use there brains if you're shopping for a humvee don't buy a daihatsu!

5 out of 5 stars Provides good protection for your minidisc player   July 6, 2005

This is a well-padded, good quality minidisc case which is a perfect fit for my MZ-NH600 minidisc player. However, as other reviewers have noted, there's not much room for anything else.pThere's a pocket on one side that would probably store 2-3 spare minidiscs, but with my player in there there's only room for one, and that's a tight fit. (Although it's not the slimmest model of minidisc player on the market at the moment.)pThis minidisc case comes with a comfortable elasticated strap with velcro fastening that you can put around your arm or wrist while jogging. It would be ideal for going running, cycling etc, and it's well padded so would provide good protection if dropped... but don't expect to be able to carry much else in there.

I am not sure which product some of the other reviews are referring to, but this minidisc case does fit both a minidisc player and attached AA battery unit. I comfortably carry the player, attached battery unit and 2 minidiscs and it is definately the best case I have used. However, it is true that the remote won't fit in as well, but I haven't found a case yet that offers that.
