Good, but labels could be bigger. Box breaks fairly easily. July 12, 2005 M. Mohr 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The sony minidiscs are good. However, I do not believe that there is a difference in sound quality between different brands.pThe storage box breaks quite easily, but is otherwise very nice.pThe labels are by far too small!! Have used Maxwell minidiscs which have excellent labels not only for the disc but also for the case of the disc.pWill probably buy those sony discs again due to the storage box included.
good quality December 28, 2004 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
These mds are good quality, and come in useful coloured packs. If you own a Hi-MD player, I would buy the new Hi-MDs (newly available on amazon) which have about four times as much space. However, I would recommend these to anyone with a normal MD player.
What can I say? January 7, 2004 21 out of 25 found this review helpful
These mini disks came free with my sony mini disk player and they are great.brMy brother has some 74 minute mini disks which are fine, but when you get sony's 80 minute disks you really appriciate the extra minutes.brI record at the most optimised setting (LP4), and with that setting you can fit an extra 24 mins of tracks to each mini disk compared to normal ones.brThe quality is as good as expected. Good quality disks, nice to look at with individual cases for each mini disk (the slide n' slot cases).brThere is shock absorber, but I can't tell how good it is because my mini disk never jumped anyway, but it can be thrown around a lot without any skipping (fell off my table and hit floor, but carried on playing perfectly throughout.brThe disks come with stickers to attach, but you don't need them, as the cool colours help you distinguish between them, so no more testing disks until you find the right one.pThe big question is if I would buy them again though. And because the quality is so great, the colours so nice and stylish and the fact that they have 80 mins etc I definatly will buy them again!pGood quality you can trust to do the job!
Da Real Deal December 22, 2003 9 out of 15 found this review helpful
Well i have tried many diffrent brands of minidisc but i think that sony have got it down to a artform, the sound quality is awesome the price is competive, the only reason why you should try any other brand is if you have little or no choice, Nuff said.
Shock Absorbing Minidiscs December 21, 2003 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
The Sony 80 Minute coloured minidiscs are the best quality minidiscs that I can find. They are really good as most minidisc players have jog proof facilities for little bumps but these minidiscs come with an added shock absorbing mechanism. So no matter how hard the minidisc player is shaken with this minidisc it will not skip or ruin your listening in any way.
