Love this product! Delivery was very prompt. Received within a couple of days of ordering. Compact design without too many complicated buttons to play with. Very easy to set up and use. Got mine done in less than five minutes! Not bad for a middle aged guy! Instructions were very easy to follow. Once I'd put my glasses on! The range of the internal mic is suprisingly good. I could pick up people talking normally from 5 or 6 metres away! All that you would want from this kind of product and at a very reasonable price. I'd recommend this item to anyone looking for simplicity and value for money.

This Digital Voice Recorder is easy to set up and use, with clear, perfectly-sized controls. It's compact, light and strong (I accidentally dropped it!) and the voice activated recording function works well. br / br /I can't fault it at all!

Received this 10 mins ago - set up in a minute (just time and date), software loaded without hitch (on Vista 32-bit using supplied disk). br / br /All in all, very happy. Compact, lightweight, simple to operate. Quality of recordings seems fine. Transferred files to PC without fuss - WAV format - converted to mp3 with Audacity in seconds. br / br /What I thought might be a headache to source proved to be simple and surprisingly inexpensive. Thanks to all that wrote reviews before me which helped me decide.

Olympus - VN-4100PC Digital Voice Recorder br / br /Excellent machine and very well priced, go for the VN4100PC, the price difference is so small the others are not worth considering. Very good microphone for personal use, it's what you would expect beyond but still fairly good. br / br /You cannot play MP3 and you cannot download to it but you can record sound through a microphone jack. Connects well with my Pure radio. Recordings can be through the built in timer, a very useful facility. br / br /The output file is wav and some say you cannot transfer directly to CD. However you can use a freeware program such as Audacity to edit sound files and covert to MP3 and other formats. These play well on my Palm and other MP3 players. br / br /Small size for shirt pocket and weighs just 63g with batteries. Well made. Overall, I am very pleased. br /

reasonably priced, big memory, easy to operate, small which makes it convenient to carry. decent internal mic. i'm very happy with mine - pen and paper is done with in my life.
