4 out of 5 stars Get more than you pay for   April 20, 2007

I bought these headphones for my zen V plus mp3 player. I had bought some clip-ons before that were no good for sport, as they always fell out, and hurt the inside or my ears after a while of use. With the ep-380's you get really good sound for the price you pay, but mainly, its the comfort. The clip ons, sit really nicely on your ears and you can almost forget you have them on. Even when they get snagged slightly when your jogging they don't come off. I really feel that you pay for the comfort and the quality of the sound is a bonus. For the price you wont find better this product is a must for all music listening sports players.

Ok the sound is not what you'd call perfect but if you want unbelievable sound, then spend a lot more! I found the sound pretty good and adequate for an MP3 player. They are also very, very comfortable. Tried other clip on phones but these are the best so far. Hardly know you've got them on. I like them!

4 out of 5 stars pretty good, but not flawless   July 9, 2006

First of all, I'd like to say that I wouldn't buy these if I didn't have an equalizer to improve their sound. Without adjustment the seound is extremely annoying - the highs are too loud, the mids are almost on-existent and the bass isn't there as far as frequencies below 100Hz are concerned. If I had heard them in some sort of audio shop and didn't have the possibility to make a few adjustments to the EQ I probably wouldn't have bought them. Actually I made every efort to find reviews of these headphones on the net, but with little success, and I began curious as to how they perform. As I said before without the EQ they are pure manure, but after a few hours of testing I've found an EQ setting that makes them sound pretty good. br / br /Oh... and they seem to fit quite securely - shouldn't fall off while running.

3 out of 5 stars I want to like them...   December 6, 2005

I bought these headphones for use at work. I wanted some clip-ons so that I could just clip one ear on and keep the other free, so I could listen to music while working but not isolate myself from whatever is going on around me in the office. When attempting to do this with simple earphones, I often found myself catching the cable as I moved my arms across the desk and yanking the earphone from my ear with annoying regularity.pSo these clip-ons were a big improvement in that respect. No mess, no fuss, very light, very comfortable on the ear. Okay they are #x27;plastic-y#x27;, but in a nice, smooth way.pThe problem lies with sound leak. Turn these up to any remotely decent volume and you#x27;re sharing it with co-workers around you. I wouldn#x27;t even dream of using these with my iPod on the train or bus, not unless I wanted to annoy every other passenger around me. The sound quality itself is not great, not terrible, but I#x27;m no audiophile.pAs for cable length, the cable is very short. This is fine for me as I have an extension cable attached to the back of my PC, otherwise it#x27;s painfully short.pIn terms of look, feel, weight and comfort, I like them a lot. Unfortunately if you#x27;re seeking sound quality and privacy I can#x27;t recommend these.
