I got one of these and couldn't get it to work out of the box with my Sansa. You need to upgrade the player firmware to be compatible with this and other accessories using the software updater available from the Sandisk website. br / br /Otherwise works fine although you are a bit limited in what you can control. Limited to power, volume and skip track. Great for turning the Sansa into a portable jukebox for parties when you want non stop music. Nicely made and finished.

Very handy bit of kit for your sansa, charges, audio out, remote control, remote holder, Remote allows you to turn on and off, play song, next song,previous song, volume. You can connect the audio to any line in source through the audio jack on rear of base. This gives you freedom to dock it with a stereo system, dvd surround sound system. The base also has usb socket to allow you to connect to a PC to sync your music or drag and drop music back and forth. It is also has a nice piano black finish which complements the Sansa range. Happy with this purchase.
