I bought my iPod touch last Christmas and fell in love with it immedietly. However... now, after just nine or ten months it has already started to 'play up'. It pauses randomly and sometimes i can see the time slider going through a song but no sound. i took it back to the apple shop, they put the new updates on it (free of charge i'd like to say ;)) but i still have the same problem i.e keeps pausing randomly. br /i would suggest that you don't buy the iPod touch as i am completely convinced that mine will stop working altogether JUST after my one year gurantee runs out. proof of this: my friend and her sister both bought an iPod on the same day last year and just after their one year gurantee ran out... they both stopped working within hours of each other. many others i've spoken with have had the same experience. br /i have now vowed never to buy another apple product and will now have to buy a new mp3 player from a different company and i hope i don't have the same problem.

My first proper iPod - and it's great!! If I could have afforded the bigger capacity then I would have got it - thats its only downfall. Just means you manage your music better and you always have something different on your iPod. Saying that I've crammed about 30 albums, countless photos and many iPod applications (just the freebie ones to check tham out!) Definatley a well deserved treat to yourself! br / br /5/5

I bought the iPod Touch a couple of weeks ago and am in love with it. This is such an awesome piece of equipment. It is so easy to navigate around the menus. The music function is excellent, I especially like how you can scroll through the album art by turning the iPod landscape. The video playback is excellent. The app store is a really good feature as you can download apps to use, some are free. I got a sports app which shows live scores for the NBA, MLB, NFL, football, tennis... The internet function is really neat and I was able to connect to my WiFi network at home quickly and with no fuss. Accessing email is also a good function, altough you have to be near a wireless network to access them. br / br /The only negatives are the battery life and the fact that there is no flash player to view videos on the internet (apart from the youtube app alreasy on). It doesn't take long for the battery to drain even without watching video I have found. br / br /Overall this is an excellent product and worth purchasing if you don't want to get the iPhone. This is basically the same apart from the phone capabilities.
