I bought this item mainly because of other customers reviews. br /I didn't want a 'plastic' box so upon receiving this solid wooden box I was initially impressed and it was a nice looking unit once switched on. br /Running the unit off an adapter was bearable but would rather have the PSU in the unit to make things easier. br /The main problem is the sound dispersion. I have recently moved the location of the unit and have found it has an incredibly small listening angle, the treble becomes too dull and the bass, which was previously clear and punchy, becomes suprisingly muffled. If you're not sat in front of the unit then it's not worth having to be honest. I wanted a quick and easy method of providing background music but find this unit a let down. br /To compare this unit to the likes of Bose is a bit of a joke. If I had heard this unit in its current position I would have returned it pretty quickly. The auxillary lead also breaking was another small niggle. br /Overall a bit of a let down br /

Stylish and solid with a sound that re-writes how music should be heard . br / br /This is the best sytem i have owned - i have just placed an order for 3 more - i want them in all of the rooms in my home there truly amazing - promise you , you will not regret buying it .

Griffin Amplifi 2.1 Sound Speaker System for iPod Ordered this product for my daughter's birthday was amazed by the sound quality. Nice rich tones with plenty of power in reserve. Build quality is fab , nice and solid and reasuringly simple compact design. Came in nice packaging and offers great value for money . Only downside is that i'd hoped that would charge her new nano-chromatic but doesnt :( . Otherwise really impressed with the machine. Thinking about getting another one downstairs for myself and getting rid of my old denon mini hifi system !

I am so impressed with this Speaker System, It is well made solid and the sound is far better than I dared hope the first thing you notice is the weight it's heavy!.I have listened to 2 others, 1 being the Bose and the Griffen beats them hands down in my opinion, and less than half the price. Now think about it all the best speakers are made from wood you just don't get a good sound from plastic. br / Great bass and plenty of volume the large volume knob feels quality and lights up a nice blue, it's an honest, does what it says on the box, no frills good value product. br / The Griffin was a present from my son and comes very nicely packaged so if you are think of giving one as a present! br /To sum up Buy one Now you will not be disappointed, in fact I want one in every room he he.
