Great - but not for iphone (charging) October 27, 2008 heathinbrum (Birmingham, UK) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
As per most previous reviews, love the sound quality. I know many have asked about iphone - it will play Iphone (3G), you can control the phone with the remote to skip etc, but it will not charge the iphone. It doesn't seem to suffer from the annoying mobile interference noise (that I have yet noticed). Overall, more than worth the money - gives us a version fully iphone 3G compatible and I'll give you 5 stars :-)
iPod Dock October 23, 2008 Heidi (Germany) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this unit to sit on my desk at work so I had music while I work. The sound quality if fantastic and it does everything I want and more. The display is clear and easy to understand and I love the fact it is a radio as well as a docking station. My iTouch is always charged so no annoying battery lows anymore. br / br /If you are looking for a good unit I highly recommend this one.
I really like it. But if you want one you should know.... October 21, 2008 Mellar (United Kingdom) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I really like this product, it does everything I want from it with ease. It looks pretty good, sounds pretty good and is fairly simple to set up (instructions always pretty important). I recommend it to pretty much anyone that wants to be woken up by their own style of music rather than whatever the radio has to offer. br / br /There are 3 things that anyone buying one of these should be aware of before they do so. br /Firstly, if you cannot sleep in anything but complete darkness you won't like this product. The panel that displays the time has a backlight with 3 dimmer settings, dim, bright and brightest, but there is no OFF. This is not a problem for me, but it may be for some people. br / br /Secondly (some people might consider this a good thing) the bass on the product is pretty beastly! I was very surprised by the quality of it... however I would say that for a product that is supposed to serve as an alarm it is TOO loud compared to the rest of the sound. The first time I was woken up by it (at 05:50) I couldn't help but think that the bass would carry through to my next door neighbours just the other side of the wall and wake them up. This can be remedied by changing the equaliser on the iPod to "reduced bass", but then it sounds wrong through earphones during the day, so must be constantly changed back and forth. Only a slight inconvenience, but in inconvenience none the less. br / br /Finally the only thing that I really don't like about this product, the fact that (as far as I can tell) there is no way of stopping the iPod from charging when it is placed on the product, which means that every time I want to go to bed (and wake up by iPod in the morning) the iPod has to go on charge, and the constant charging damages the battery of the iPod. The only way to avoid this as far as I am aware is either to not use your iPod at all during the day, or use it so much that it's nearly out of battery and NEEDS the charge at the end of the day. br / br /If none of those things bother you I happily recommend this product. I really like it, and to be honest even if I would have known those things before I bought it I still would have got it. Nevertheless anyone buying this product should be aware of its possible reasons to send back before they actually have to do so. br / br /4/5
Fabulous litle gadget October 20, 2008 S. Blease (Notts, UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this to replace a CD clock radio that was well past it's use by date. It is a fabulous little gadget - looks really good, charges your ipod up and wakes you up in the morning with either rich quality music (very impressed with the sound quality), radio or buzzer. br / br /It's really easy to use and has plenty of radio presets if you forget to take your ipod upstairs at bedtime or just fancy a change! The display is nice and bright but this can be a down-side if you like your room dark as it has a backlight that is still quite bright on it's dimmest setting. br / br /I absolutely love it and would recommend it to anyone.
WOW!!! October 3, 2008 Mr. A. E. Mcmillan (Oban, Scotland, UK.) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Logik 3 iStation alarm clock radio for ipod (black) br /Wow what a product, since I bought it, I've never had to press the "Snooze" button, waking up to your own music is great! The remote is small but hey, on other reviews they don't tell you, it comes with MANY ipod docks so almost every ipod will fit comfortably, the remote has a hole to fit onto keyrings etc, music gradully gets louder when alarm goes off, the bass you get is unreal, not what i expected =D, you can use your ipod while it is plugged in (i.e. internet etc), it's a good size and I would recommend it to anyone who wants an ipod dock station, Buy this one, ive found no faults...(except you cant skip through playlists with your remote, it has to be done manually)...
