3 out of 5 stars Double link is not always compatible   October 12, 2008

The review saying single link is the same as double link, is Rubbish. br / br /I have a have a double link DVI cable, and it is not compatible with my monitor, because there are extra pins on the cable for which there are no holes in the monitor's socket. It's not this cable obviously, and it may not be a problem, since I'm not intending to use it on the monitor. br / br /I know nothing about this particular single link cable, but beware that if you need single link, double link might not do.

3 out of 5 stars No point in getting single-link DVI cables   July 4, 2007

There's no point in getting a single-link cable like this one, since dual-link (DVI-D to DVI-D) cables are fully compatible, and no more expensive. That way you know that you'll be able to use dual-link devices in future with the same cable.

Just got new screens for my Mac and though I#x27;d try out a DVI cable. Can#x27;t fault this one - the colours are vibrant and its at least a third as cheap as any other cable of this length I could find in the shops. It really does make a difference to the monitor.brJust be careful you get the right one - there is a difference between DVI-I and DVI-D so check your monitor/PC instructions to be sure.
