I have a HP Deskjet 815c and I was a bit concerned that this might not work with my printer especially as it wasn't included in the list on the packet. But NO problem. Followed the instructions and was printing in a couple of minutes from a Vista PC (I also checked the HP website to make sure my printer would work from Vista). Much cheaper than buying a new printer.

I needed a second parallel interface for an hp laserjet 2100, as an old epson printer had taken the PC's parallel port. I connected it in and XP Home Edition found the new hardware and put the hp printer on port USB001. It works fine. br /Delivery from ABC was excellent. I placed the order @ 3pm, product was with me next day via Royal Mail.

Connected my HpDeskjet 940c to my new Dell Inspiron (vista)and within a few minutes was printing as usual. Haven't detected any loss of performance, even photos printed out well.
 Doesn't work with all HP printers under Vista December 7, 2007

I bought this to use with a couple of HP printers from a new Vista PC. It worked just fine with the Deskjet 520, but not with the Deskjet 930C. Having read up about it, this seems to be a general problem with some HP printers and USB to parallel cables running on Vista.
