Product Description The X-Minimax is a stereo system with two speakers and a built-in subwoofer. Powered by two rechargeable lithium batteries, this system is connected at the bottom by two magnetic bases to form a capsule for easy storage. It?s easy to carry around too, because it weighs just 100 g for increased portability. The X-Minimax was the winner of the Red Dot Design Award 2008.

Great little speakers!! December 5, 2008 Mr. S. Cheng (London, UK) These little speakers are quite amazing and for the size and price I'm pleasantly surprised! br / br /Only thing I didn't like are the cables, having such a good product you'd think they provide a better cable managment system. Having thought about it, they could've put the cables within the speakers and have the extratable that way instead. Guess something for the future.. maybe bluetooth option would've been nice but hey, can't have everything. I'm very happy with my purchase!!!
Great around the house but don't expect to turn them up December 2, 2008 K. P. Curtis (Bath, UK) These tiny things produce really excellent sound quality at lower volume levels - I use mine to listen to my DAB MP3 player in the kitchen, on my laptop, and in the living room to provide ambient music at parties. I had them running for about five hours at one point with no sign of battery failure. br / br /The one qualm I would have is that, despite claims to the contrary, these do distort quite badly at higher volumes. Anything louder than about conversation level and you're going to start suffering some serious pain. br / br /NOTE: this pack doesn't come with a mains charger, but there is an alternative product that does come with one.
These cuties are my best buy December 1, 2008 P. Adigopula They blow out your mind. br /The sound is more spacious and surround and ofcourse louder than you think of. br /Surprised my friends with the sound its producing. br / br /Needless to say...This is my best buy..!
Finally a portable speaker set that is Portable and functions as a Speaker! November 14, 2008 urbansmurf (London) Very rarely a product comes along that actually meets my rather exacting standards. This is one of them. br / br /My requirements for this product were: Light, compact and with good enough sound to enjoy watching a film on my laptop; in a hotel room. br / br /It succeeds where others have failed. br / br /That said this won't make a regular addition to my travel kit, however this is more to do with my travel ethos than the product. I will continue to use headphones when I travel alone. But when the missus comes with me, these will to. br / br /If like me you are a regular business traveller who hates kit clutter and goes ultra-light. You might want to look into a Mogo mouse. br /
Re. XMI MINIMAX Speakers October 29, 2008 D. G. O'sullivan (Surrey UK) I bought a set of Minimax Speakers last week as a travel accessory for my iPOD. I get tired of earphones after a while and my wife and I may like to listen to music of our own choice when away. I've had them only for a short time, so I can't vouch for their durability. However with regards to sound, build quality, weight and size I have found them an excellent well-priced accessory for my purposes. I receive well over 5 hours music before re-charging. A few days after purchase, I bought another set as a Christmas present for my daughter. Given the time I've had them, I would nevertheless recommend them for the purposes that I require. D.G O'S
