The Bag offer plenty of space for the camera, all the cables, and for a few tapes as well, without being overly big or cumbersome. The bag also has very good build quality,a good buy.

This item was recommended by Amazon as a 'Perfect Partner' for the Sony DVD106 Handycam but it was too big. Even moving the partition left the camcorder rattling around. It defeats the object of having a compact camera.

I have a Sony DVD306 and it fits in lens or eyepiece down up one end of the bag and if you secure it using the padded partition against it there is plenty of room for cables, power supply etc. There is the usual "net" pocket in the lid to hold the remote/spare battery etc, another pocket beneath the clasp that will hold two 8cm DVD's in their cases and there is one final pocket at the back to carry the instructions in my case or it would take more spare DVD's if you wish though it is not a covered pocket and so not secure. It would have been nice to have a carrying handle on the lid rather than just a shoulder strap but that is being picky and would obviously add to the price. Overall for what this cost I am very pleased with it.

Having read a number of the reviews here I was confused that some said it was only just large enough to hold the camcorder, while others said there was plenty of room for the camcorder and accessories. Well which is true? br / br /Well having checked the Sony web site it seems they recommend this case for most of their camcorders and these vary in size a lot! So while there is plenty of room for a small camcorder it might be tight for one of the larger ones. br / br /In case it helps anyone I measured the internal dimensions at about 22cm x 10cm x 13cm (wxdxh) [sizes are approximate]. There is also a small zipped pocket in the lid and a small pocket on the front. The main section can be divided in two using a supplied divider which is attached to the front and back using velcro.
