Great portable speakers! December 5, 2007 Fab sound, great battery life. Folds flat so you can pop them in your suitcase. I have to agree about the two innermost batteries though!! They seem to lodge & dislodge really randomly. Mine do eventually fall out, but I don't know why! I can't seem to get the 'knack' for removing them. I usually leave them and then the next day they are loose!
Logitech mm28 portable speakers November 15, 2007 Fantastic lightweight piece of equipment. Sound quality is wonderful. Haven't tried batteries yet so don't know if they are a problem or not but will take care.
Baffled about batteries October 20, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I echo all of the other reviewers re brilliant sound - they have even made an ancient tranny ( thats radio to you youngsters) sound good. Bass is quite jaw dropping for a unit of this size. The speakers are fabulously compact and stylish. Particularly good for a bedroom. They are actually a very good design. I am baffled by the most recent reviewers' problems re batteries -I have just taken out and put batteries ( Duracells which are normally quite tight in other appliances ) in several times without a single hitch. I wonder if other reviewers' batteries have got stuck because the force of taking out the first two has jammed the inner two against the wall of the battery tube?? It might be therefore prudent to be as gentle as possible in removing front two batteries. Or, to attach thread to the back two when you put them in just in case so you have something to pull out if they do get stuck. Have any 5 star reviewers had problems subsequent to their reviews being submitted? I would say from my experience don't let the negative reviews put you off. This is a stunning piece of kit now 6 cheaper than when I bought them so even better VFM.
AA Batteries Stuck Inside October 11, 2007 I would like to echo the sentiments of those who have been unable to dislodge the innermost two batteries. It seems impossible to crack the case open; it looks like there are two impossibly tiny cover screws on the back (sealed with epoxy).
Another stuck battery August 27, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I thought this product was great, with awesome sound and nice stylings for the price, until...like another reviewer, my batteries became so stuck that no amount of shaking or banging could get them out. This has renndered the speakers dead, and I will just have to throw them away. The way the batteries go in means there is no access at all if this happens to you. Very poor design.
