5 out of 5 stars Saved me buying a new amp!   June 6, 2008

Got this convertor a few weeks agofrom Hughes Direct as they much cheaper than everywhere else. It has been excellent buy and very simple to use, just plug the video inputs in, select the source and away it goes. It also scales the non-HD inputs up to 720P or 1080i. br / br /I am connecting it to my Projector (not a pioneer product) as it was a much cheaper option than replacing my Amplifier with one that does video upscaling. So far I have my DVD player hooked up at 576P, the X-Box 360 with HD-DVD player running at 720P both are via component from the amp and my PC through HDMI, all without any problems, just plug and play. br / br /The picture is excellent, it's easy to use, there is no lipsync issues, what more do you need?
