 Excellent value for money November 14, 2008

I ordered a pair of these headphones Tuesday afternoon and were delivered on Thursday - pretty good service by the seller. The package was also well wrapped and arrived in perfect condition. br / br /The headphones themselves are excellent value for money and ideal for me. I wasn't after anything particularly expensive, but I needed a decent pair of headphones so that I could listen to music whilst working at my computer in my (noisy) lab. These are just the job - the headphones block out a lot of the ambient noise, the bass is clear and the sound generally bright and balanced. br / br /In conclusion, in terms of value for money and quality I'm very happy with this purchase and would happily recommend them to anyone.

These are brilliant. I have not owned something like this before so I rated it four stars for not knowing what else is outthere. br / br /I tried these on in a store in NY. Of all the headphones on the wall, I picked these out to be the most comfortable with good sound quality. br / br /The clerk also told me that as to other headphones, these can work well with mp3 players. He told me that some other headphone require alot of power to provide good sound quality from MP3 players. br / br /So far, I have used these with my ipod and they are wonderful. Comfortable, good sound... I use them on the tube too. I love them and I am happy I bought them. I am also happy I got to try out the headphones too before I bought them. I think thats important when buying these kind of headphones. You would think that other headphones would be just as comfortable...but of like 50 on the wall of that store....these were the only ones that were just right for me.

The sound quality is excellent, even better then the Sony MDR-V300 that I used to use. br /It gets uncomfortable after long use though and may not be suited for people with a long head (lol). br /I don't exactly have a long head but the headphones won't extend any more longer at the length I'm currently using it at atm. br /Bass is incredible, if you love bass, this is the headphone to get, be sure to use the equalizer to get more bass out of these. br /

I originally bought a pair of these to go with an MP3 player that had poor quality ear-buds. There might be better earphones around than these HD202s, but for their very reasonable price they are exceptionally good. Personally I find them quite comfortable -- though I know other reviewers didn't think so -- and even wear them for long train journeys. Great.

I normally always buy sennheiser and have always been pleased, but i bought 4 of these for my staff computers and 2 had to be replaced with in 6 weeks of purchase. To be fair they were replaced immediately without any question and have had no problems since, but 2 out of 4 going wrong raises questions about build quality. Ironically i have the 201 and never had a problem with them.
