 Good dock but no video for Classic November 15, 2008

The dock works fine with the Classic 80GB iPod for playing music via a TV or HiFi and for charging. However, there is no video out via either the composite or S-video outputs. Logic3 website recognises this and claims it is due to this dock pre-dating the Classic. If you want video or photos to the TV from a Classic iPod don't buy this dock.

Bought this to connect my 3G nano to my hi-fi amp. Does exactly what I wanted. The remote control feels a bit tacky but the dock itself looks and feels fine. Sound quality also seems fine, although you do have to crank the volume up on the amp a touch more. Overall I am very happy with this product. Charges the i-pod aswell which is good. Just remember to get the correct connector leads when you buy as you don't get these in the box.

This little gadget is just the job, I have an ipod classic 30gb. br /I have it linked to my TV through the svideo, the sound I have through my hi-fi. br /Everything works fine, I haven't quite got the hang of the remote, but its early days. br / All in all I am very please, I am also happy with the price. br /I recommended this product to my son who has the same ipod as mine, he is also into gadgets. br /He is over the moon with it, so what can I say? Except, buy it. br /Baz (Lancashire)

Works on 1G Nano, and my 80GB IPOD. But with the 3G Nano I can get sound but not video, also doesn't charge 3G Nano.
