Excellent starter kit March 12, 2008 Mr. Gt Allix (Devon, England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This pack is excellent value for money. The guitar has a good sound and low action, it's easy to play and stays in tune. The tuner, bag and stand are all good, but the DVD is a waste of time, there's much better DVDs and books available. The spare strings are for classical guitar (the three high strings are nylon not steel), but strings are cheap. I can't imagine you can get a better starter pack than this.
Quick delivery! February 26, 2008 Mr. R. J. Hood (London, England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered the Yamaha F310 starter pack complete with stand, tuner, gig bag, etc, on Saturday February 23rd 2008 and it has arrived today, Tuesday February 26th 2008. That is an incredibly quick turnaround time, and the kit arrived well packed in a Yamaha own label box. I own a couple of other guitars (left handed), but I wanted to get a right handed guitar for my son, so I thought the starter kit might be the way to go, as it has the accessories already included. I am very pleased, the guitar itself is of the quality I would expect from Yamaha, and it sounds just as good straight out of the box, if not better than my left handed acoustic (not a Yamaha). All in all I would recommend this kit as an excellent value for money starter for anyone thinking of taking up acoustic guitar.
Perfect start for a beginner February 2, 2008 Mr. S. J. Warrilow (UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Plays brilliantly and looks good on the stand too! br / br /The sound quality is good. It took about 5 minutes to tune with the electronic tuner that's included. The build is robust and of a decent standard. br / br /There are three plectrums of varying gauges so you can find which one you prefer. And a spare set of strings which is a must. br / br /The bag is a soft padded bag with unpadded backstrap and carry handle. It's ok for short journeys or in the car but I wouldn't risk it on a busy tube. I haven't sussed out how to attach the strap to the guitar yet, but I don't play standing up so that's no big deal for me. br / br /The stand is usefull for preventing damage. It has a nice plectrum holder too. br / br /All in all - fantastic value for money. A great gift idea. br / br /The DVD is OK too. br / br /All in all this is ideal
Nice guitar but a little expensive October 5, 2007 Guitarpolitzer (UK) 3 out of 9 found this review helpful
Bought this guitar and am very pleased with it but seeing other guitar packs from Classenti around 30 - 40 cheaper I wonder if it is a little expensive? In hindsight I think I payed more for the name.
