My review is a short one ...We have found the Philips DVP3120 to be all it has been said to be and maybe even a little more.

3 out of 5 stars Multi region hack   March 31, 2008

I followed the hack supplied by kalpesh. Unfortunately it didn't work so i guess that Phillips have either done something to the DVD player to prevent it or the number pads on my remote do not work.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent   March 14, 2008

Superb value for money. Multi-region *capable* in that it is single-region out of the box and you have to follow the instructions in earlier comments to actually make it multi-region, but that takes about 30 seconds and works like a charm.

5 out of 5 stars I bought three   March 3, 2008

I updated some lone TV's around the house with DVD players of this model. br / br /I have had no problems with them. The unit looks good and the remote control is solid and reliable. It took a while to realise that holding down STOP performed EJECT br / br /I have converted all to multi-region and play European, American and Asian DVDs without error. I also use them to play DVDs that I have recorded off my Sony PVR, including ones that I have compressed. br / br /All three work the same and have the same quality. Picture, colour and stability is good. This is well worth the money.
