 Sennheiser CX300 Black Earphones - Excellent Service from Beauforts September 23, 2008

I must say the service Beauforts provided was brilliant. I ordered the earphones on Saturday evening and they turned up on Tuesday morning (delivered by Royal Mail) and were well packaged,. The product itself seems great too, great bass, probably the best sounding earphones I've had to date.
I'm also impressed with the aftersales service from Beauforts, I received a very nice courtesy email a few days after delivery, to be honest I can't fault them as a trader and would recommend anyone to buy from them.

I'd heard a *lot* and I do mean a *lot* of good things about these bad boys, (despite the reported "weirdness" of the ear buds and all associated feelings) so I took the plunge and got them through the post on the 15th. I was perfectly comfortable with them by the 17th, so don't worry about that factor. I would say it was like getting used to contact lenses or glasses for the first time.
The sound is fantastic and there is no leakage what-so-ever. Take them out, turn up the volume to 11 and stick your fingers over the ends to see what I mean. The base nears on the orgasmic and the definition just blows me away. With some stores selling at 15 - 30 these are absolutely fantastic value for money.

I decided to buy some new earphones to replace the Creative pair supplied with my player. Having read a lot of the reviews, I tried some Koss Plugs.......... don't bother. They're ok but no bass to them whatever.
Then I thought I'd try some Sennheisers due to the good remarks made about them. I thought they would be expensive, and searched through Amazon, eventually finding them for a paltry eight quid or so, plus a bit of postage. I was wary that they might be fakes, but when they arrived (after only two days) I checked them over. They were the real McCoy! and WOW! are they good or what? There is plenty of bass to them with beautiful clear highs, and a generally comfortable pair of 'phones to wear. I thoroughly recommend them!

Initially, I was confused about all the reviews commending the bass sound from these headphones, since all I got was a treble-tastic and slightly tinny sound from the medium and small ear buds. I don't consider myself to have larger than the average ears, so had tossed the large ear buds to one side. As a last resort, I tried them - the experience couldn't be more different! They sit much more comfortably in my ears, I can hear the bass and a warm pleasant sound fills my ears.
Great headphones for the price - but try all the ear buds!

Good for the ipod, comes with two sizes of rubber covers for insertion in the ear. Comfortable for the smaller earhole. Sound is perfectly good enough for meditation music, rock/pop and spoken word. I don't have perfect pitch but the classical music sounds okay to me. Treated with some respect the product has lasted me quite well but the two wires are beginning to split off now.
