3 out of 5 stars Good sound, dodgy build quality   March 12, 2008

I use these with a Sony NW-S205F walkman and the sound quality is great, especially the good strong bass. I mainly listen to rock and metal when I'm running in the gym, and it helps to drown out the techno nonsense blasting around the room from the spin class... br / br /I was quite disappointed then, when I noticed that the join between the silver and grey parts just next to the actual speakers are peeling apart on each side, and I don't know how long they're going to last. There also seems to be a dodgy connection somewhere; I think it's down by the jack because I lose the sound sometimes, both with the walkman, and the TV sockets in the gym. br / br /I'd buy another set of Sennheisers, but perhaps spend a bit more on something more solid?

3 out of 5 stars Maybe I've got funny ears...   March 11, 2008

I bought these because I found regular in ear phones kept falling out. br / br /Maybe it's my ears, but I find these terribly uncomfortable, though wearable. On the plus side they won't fall out, which is what I wanted, although I've found that the neckband sticks out so far round my little neck that if I put my head back that can slightly dislodge the earphones and I can't sit back in a high backed chair with them on. br / br /Overall the convenience of them not falling out all the time overrides the discomfort, but I can't help thinking old-style walkman headphones might be a better solution.

5 out of 5 stars Great headphones   February 23, 2008

After getting fed up at the gym, trying to work out with the headphones that came with my ipod, I did a search for some new ones and came up with these. br / br /I read the reviews and after a little research, decided to buy them. I was pleasantly surprised! They don't fall out of your ears like ipod headphones do and I was able to work out for a full hour and a half without the normal "pop the headphones back into my ears" bit as I did every 5 minutes before. br / br /The one downside to these headphones is that I did find that they weren't as loud as my normal headphones and I did have to have my ipod turned up quite loud.
