2 out of 5 stars This is a pain you don't need during a workout   June 2, 2008

These are a `one size fits all' headphones, which is great if you fit within its size range then you will probably be gushing for joy like the majority of reviewers here. On the other hand, if you fall outside of the size range, like me, then you are going to be in for a painful frustrating experience with this product. The earpieces are made of hard plastic with no cushioning and the neckband is designed to exert pressure on them to keep them in place during sporting activities. Unfortunately there is no means of making adjustments to make them fit comfortably. So if they are not a good fit then they will feel like someone is constantly trying to force hard plastic clothes pegs into your ear holes. Another problem with the design is that the neckband protrudes too far behind the head. This won't be a problem if you are only going to use them for jogging or cycling but if you want to use them in the gym as well, like me, then you are in for another painful experience. Whenever the back of my head came into contact with any surfaces such as benches, headrests or the floor then the neckband would be driven forward causing the earpieces to stab painfully into my ears.

I really tried to make these headphones work as I needed a set that would stay in place during a workout. But after many attempts I had to give them up, they were just too excruciating to use.

If it is at all possible I would advise potential buyers to find a shop, or a friend who has them, who will allow them to try them first before buying, if I had done so I would have known within minutes they were no good for me. On the plus side the sound quality is very good especially if you are an ipod owner.

1 out of 5 stars Appalling!!! - Waste Of Money!!!   May 22, 2008

As a keen runner and new convert to listening to music whilst running, I made do with my ipod white ear pieces for months but got annoyed when they need constant re-adjusting, so I thought long and hard, read the reviews of all the types and finally went for these headphones based upon the customer reviews. I've had them for about 2 weeks, and have run about 50 miles with them and have to say they are annoying, awkward and uncomfortable to run with. They seem to catch my clothing everytime I turn my head, or look straight ahead, this is due to the neck band which isn't adjustable and frankly I wish I hadn't bothered.

The GOOD Points - none frankly except the clothing clasp is great, I've taken it and used it on my old ear pieces.

My Advice - if you run short distances then you shouldn't find them too annoying, if like me you are a long distance runner it will annoy the hell out of you.

5 out of 5 stars Brilliant Sport Earphones   May 19, 2008
I looked at these for use in the gym and originally thought the neck band would get in the way on the bench or the mat. I went for a pair of Philips SHS8000 earhook headphones, but they didn't work out well so came back to these.

They are fantastic. The other pair just wouldn't stay in. These are rock solid and don't budge. And the neck band doesn't get in the way on the bench or the mat. What's more, the sound is loud, clear and rich. Nice deep bass and crisp trebles. In fact, on these earphones I've heard details in two songs that I've never picked out before - and that was in the gym!

Can't fault them for quality, sound and doing the job. On the rower, the treadmill, the bench or the mat these stay put and sound great (and I think the green looks fine).

I don't think these can be beaten for sports use.

5 out of 5 stars Great for running   May 13, 2008
I have been using them for over a year. They have held up very well while running. A great find. The sound is also great.

5 out of 5 stars Great quality and great fit!   May 10, 2008
First of all, its not supposed to go all the way in your ear, just the end bits sit inside.

These headphones are amazing! Great sound quality, great bass and really picks up sound well! I had the e150s a while back but the right cup went after 9 months. I've had several other brands and styles but im back to the senns again and im glad i bought these!

Not too sure what the sweat build up is about, had these in a gruelling gym and sweating like a pig but no blocked headphones...

Overall, a quality set of headphones for the gym and elsewhere!
