What a great cable and at a very reasonable price. I plugged this straight into my XBOX 360 Arcade and into my TV and WOW what a difference when compared to scart.
The cable seems great quality and has immensely improved the graphics on my machine. It must be said that the cable is very short but if you are just connecting items that are on the same tv stand it should more than be enough. By comparison I would personally say HDMI is at least twice as good as component but that may just be me. Anyway great cable, great price, buy it.

really good cable!
satisfied and pleased i chose this one
the only thing is that on my ps3 i play fifa08 and it makes all the players look a bit tall, but not enough to annoy you about it

Great HDMI cable. The quality is staggering. I use this with my Xbox360 and its just great. The picture quality and the sound are amazing. The cable is a bit on the short side though, so if your TV is mounted on you wall, you will probably need to put what ever your connecting to it on a shelf or something.

Using this with a Philips 42PFP5532D plasma TV and a Philips DVP5960 upscaling DVD player, I would've liked to have paid a bit more for my HDMI cable, but after shelling out several hundred pounds for the other kit, it wasn't an option, but for the 10 I spent on it, I am well pleased with it's performance, it does exactly what it is supposed to do and seems pretty well built/constructed. Picture & sound quality are perfectly acceptable, could possibly be better if I'd spend 30-50 on something better (I like Ixos cables for AV & Hi-Fi purposes, pricey but very high quality). This cable will do for now.
Sorry to hear that one or two other folks have got duff ones, but they should take advantage of Amazon's excellent return service and get replacements/refunds.

I BOUGHT THIS AS A PACKAGE WITH MY NEW PHILIPS HTS6510 HOME CINEMA AND SAMSUNG LE40M87 1080I TV HOWEVER WHEN I WATCH ANYTHING THRU THE NEW HDMI LEADS THE PICTURE IS WORSE WITH EDGE DEFINITION AWFUL AND OVERPOWERING BLACKS THAN THRU MY SCART LEADS ,CONTACTED MY TV MAN WHO CHECKED SETTINGS AND HE TOLD ME THE CABLE MUST BE FAULTY AS THE PICTURE THRU SCART IS VERY GOOD AND SHOULD IMPROVE THRU THE HDMI SO SENT BACK! PITY AS IT LOOKS QUALITY!
