Buying this cable was a brilliant investment. I never knew what a difference HD has compared to an av socket. The picture quality is so much better! Its a definate must buy if you own a PS3 an a HD TV.

I don't understand why people seem to think that buying a more expensive HDMI cable will result in better video/audio quality.
IT"S DIGITAL! It doesn't suffer from degradation in that way like an analog cable.
In the music industry i see people spending a fortune on expensive digital optical cables thinking they are gonna get cleaner audio.
Fact is a better quality digital cable will do 2 things better.
1: it could be more robust, build quality is surely worth money in my opinion.
2: Assuming a better manurfacturing process the cable will be less likely to cause dropouts.
As far as quality goes though digital is digital is digital, don't be fooled by expensive cables unless you want a more robust well made cable.

I watch all DVDs and Games in HD now. My life has changed!
Quality of this is great. Works with my Bush LCD TV perfectly. Had to take my original connections out of the TV though.
Buy this if you have a PS3 and a HDTV.

... on my Sony Bravia 1080p TV at all resolutions. Picture quality seems very good and sound is improved. Got the cable bundled free with a PS3 from amazon.

Screen goes blank every couple of minutes for 10 seconds or so - this also happens if I use this cable on my DVD player. Swapped to a Philex HDMI cable and all is fine. Am now trying to work out how to return this one to Amazon for a refund!
