Awesome sound quality October 7, 2007 Benjamin (Bournemouth) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Compared to the standard headphones that apple give you with the Ipod, these CX300's are worth every penny. br / br /They fit snugly into your ear and come with 3 different size buds. br / br /The sound clarity is awesome, and the bass sounds great! The noise cancelling is very good, and drowns out most of the noise you will encounter on public transport etc. br / br /However, it's not all good news as the asymmetric cable may bother some customers (it certainly does me) as I have never found wearing headphone wires around the back of my neck particulary comfortable. Secondly, if you have your ipod set at a medium volume, it's quite easy for people to hear what you are listening to, or bother other people (depends on your level of consideration for others). br / br /4 Stars, would highly recommend these as a reasonably priced, quality alternative to the standard apple ipod headphones.
Truly Amazing!!! October 6, 2007 iPod mad! 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got these ear phones as I had bought Sennheiser MX 500 earphones before and thought them very good, but my ears must have changed as they started to become very uncomfortable and constantly fell out. I decided to try these 'ear canal' headphones to see if they were more comfortable and produced a better sound... Well it was amazing! When I first got the earphones I didn't think the rubber caps would be that good and there was no cap provided to protect the earphones and the cable was a little short due to one earphone being longer than the other. I have an iPod Nano and when I first plugged the headphones in the plug didn't seem to fit properly when the iPod was in it's case. Then I tried the 'phones out... br /The rubber seals work perfectly and the shorter cable actually keeps it out of the way. The asymmetrical cable is handy when listening with just one ear and the plug actually plugs into the iPod perfectly, despite first impressions. The 'phones block out almost everything except the music, it's just like going onto your own little music planet. I heard things I have never heard before, the sound quality is amazing! The plugs are dead comfortable and I only need the iPod at half volume and it's plenty loud enough! There basically like ear plugs but with a fantastic sound quality coming through them! Highly recommend them! Brilliant!!!
Not SHURE October 6, 2007 S. J. Hopwood (Darwen) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought these in place of some Shure E2Cs. The Shure 'phones were 10 dearer than the Sennheiser and not in the same league. The sound quality is superb across the full range of EQ. There's more detail in the music with plenty highs and good bass.Plus they're very comfortable(you won't need a month to get used to them) The Shure E2Cs got sent back. These are for keeps.
What fab little gems!! October 2, 2007 H. L. Reid (London) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As previously mentioned in other comments, the sound quality that these little earphones supply was amazing! I have very small inner ears so I found that the small ear buds were very comfortable. br /The packaging was very eco friendly as well (for those of you like me who recycle everything !) br /Well worth the small price paid for them.
