I could not recommend this enough. The pictures on the amazon site don't do it justice. You need to see it in person to understand how good it is.
The lack of DVI ports doesn't seem to be an issue. I have a fairly high end card with VGA and DVI ports and connected up to the VGA the picture is flawless.

Just bought my 22 rim, to replace an old 14 dell, boy am i glad i have. the screen is huge, bright and crystal clear. definately an amazing spend. and so easy to set up just plugs en switches en off u go. no more cinema journeys for me, this will do the job.

Three 5* reviews in one day. That's because this monitor is fantastic. I also had a dell 19" and using the guy belows help I uninstalled and restarted. set resolution in the display settings (advanced ATI as well) and it works fantastically. It is big! I have a wireless keyboard and think I might have to move my chair back a few feet.

If anyone else is skeptical about buying a VGA monitor instead of a DVI then please dont be! I was exactly the same as you but I bought this monitor and an adapter as my PC only supports DVI and the picture quality is better than my old 19" widescreen! I put it down to the CrystalBright technology, i have the same on my laptop and that also has an amazing picture...
This monitor was so easy to setup and install and not only is the picture really good it also feels extremely well built as the "P" series is Acers premium range!

Assembled, set resolution --- Bingo !!! works like a dream. It is a delight to use, and the Crystal screen is a stroke of genius. It is such an improvement on the norm. It is hard to find anything to complain about, but after a lot of thought, the only thing I came up with is - due to the static the plastic bezel, looks for every spec of dust it can find and collects it, but it still gets my vote, as number 1.
