Greenish tinge December 19, 2007 Colin Maclure (Aberdeen UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This monitor looks lovely, glossy black surround and a glass finish on the screen. No speakers, just the basics, a great picture, setting up simple and straightforward. A warning though, the picture appeared a bit green in the whites, so be sure your graphics card allows colour adjustments. If it does, buy it!
WOW! For the price I don't think this can be beaten November 30, 2007 Mr. B. K. Simpson (West Midlands) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Purchased mine from Amazon and knew it didn't have DVI input but I didn't need that anyway but it is available elsewhere with DVI input if this is what you want. The CHRYTALBRITE technology does work a treat as the display is the strongest and brightest I have ever seen, and for watching movies in wide screen it surely is a pleasure (well done ACER)For 160.00 I don't think you could get a better monitor so go on and treat yourself you will not be disappointed.
Super quality at a Great price.. November 30, 2007 PULINAS UK (U.K) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have been using a 19" widescreen monitor for about a year and i thought that was good, I spotted this 22" monitor on Amazon as soon as i saw that it was a CrystalBrite screen I had to buy it,I have a 17" CrystalBrite Laptop and the colour picture quality is fantastic. br /The Monitor was delivered within three days of purchase and I can say that I was not disappointed. br / br /The Monitor looks great with its Piano Black surround and the picture and colour quality is 1st class.. At only 159 with Free delivery it is unbelievable... I would recommend this monitor to anyone.. br /
Very wide!! November 27, 2007 Bill 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
No DVI socket as others have mentioned. Previous monitor was 17 inch digital from Dell. Can I tell any difference? No is the answer. Extremely wide, was obviously expecting it to be wide but oh my! Not as tall as I thought it would be, width obviously considered more important :-o I appreciate the aspect ratio defines height.. Can view a word/open office document as if reading a book, two pages simultaneously displayed; makes work very much easier. br / br /My only niggle is the lack of height adjustment, can improvise but..,so only four stars. For the money an excellent monitor. Just got to get a shi%y stick to keep the kids off it so I can do some work!
Quality screen at a budget price November 20, 2007 Rabbieboy (United Kingdom) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I was amazed at the quality of this for the price I paid. The Quick Start Guide booklet supplied is pretty useless with truly microscopic diagrams but all I needed to do was 1. Unbox and unwrap it 2 Plug in vga lead to both screen and pc and same with power lead 3 Switch on screen then pc and all was well, though the screen image was a lot brighter than I'm used to. You can turn down brightness with on screen menu tho. br / br /Sorry but I can't fault this at all. br /
