Great Value! November 17, 2007 Mike (UK) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
A 22" monitor at this price? Wow! br /Looks great! br /Really 'black' blacks. Slight ghost on white icons and text br /but that doesnt bother me. br / br /Before you think you graphics card wont support it, try uninstalling your previous monitor and restarting your PC. br /My Dell 19" monitor didnt display the max resolution in display settings until I did this. br / br /I'm toying with the idea of buying another on and a twin head gfx card... br / br /A 22" desktop is awesome!!! br /
Superb for the money November 16, 2007 BD Cocker (UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I just bought this Acer as a desktop monitor for my laptop and it has totally blown me away. Since I only have a VGA connection out, I had worried it might be dull or blurred, but it is bright, vibrant and crystal clear. Buy with confidence.
For the price its worth it November 11, 2007 A. Sarroza (Notts, uk) 4 out of 7 found this review helpful
My first impression of this monitor was that aesthetically it is such a charm. After fiddling around with it after receiving it (here comes the bad part) i found out that this doesnt come along with a DVI port. Its a minor quirk but for the fussy people im sure it will put them off. I decided to keep it anyway since from my experience of having had 2 previous monitors (both 19") with DVI, using the VGA doesnt really give any noticeable difference. Its like being given a medicine which doesnt work but you think you feel better because you have took a medicine tablet. br / br /Electronics wise the signal has to be processed digital-analog-digital rather than just all digital with the DVI but truthfully i dont give a damn. Now my room looks better with this thing... it has been designed suprisingly well. Another thing is that the colour and all that kind of adjustments for the display is quite limited, has 5 presets which does give really good results but i really want to adjust things on my own. This is no big deal as the video card driver control panel(thanks to nvidia) allows a whole range of colour/tone/brightness/etc management that the buttons on the monitor seem to be redundant. I play games relatively a lot (mostly tf2 recently) and I have to say it makes me even want to play for longer, good contrast good response time and very vivid colours. Anyhow, im gonna be sticking to this monitor for the next 3 years me thinks
Good Value for Money November 9, 2007 Wojciech Szadziuk 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought the screen being aware of noDVI. br / br /I just hooked it up to my laptop and set the required resolution (there are some higher resolutions available for the monitor, bur I did not try using them). br /The monitor looks really nice and the quality of reproduction is good enough for general use. If you want to edit photos, forget about it as there are some minor flaws in the picture quality. br /I bought it as a general replacement for my laptop's 15.4" screen and watching movies as well as browsing the internet is really comfortable with it. br /I can really recommend it, for the price you will not find anything with this quality

This monitor looks good in the pictures, but boy when you get it, it looks even better. br / br /Great picture quality (even though VGA connector). No height adjustment but this is a minor detail. br / br /Highly recommended! I can't look at anything smaller anymore!
