We Ordered the 37" widescreen on Sunday and as promised it was delivered before 1pm on the Tuesday. Very easy to set up and tune in, a child could do it.The picture quality is very good,the screen does not get reflection from windows. br /I would definately recommend not only the screen to friends, but also to use Amazon as they are good on price and good on delivery. br /Thank You for making us happy Amazon.

I was looking forward to recieving the television. It arrived 3 days after i placed my order which i thought was very good. br /Only problem was when i set it up and turned it on nothing happened!!!! br /You can imagine i was a little annoyed. So i contacted Amazon through their returns system online. br /Approx one hour later i recieved an email telling me that another tv had been dispatched !!!! How about that for service. br /They provided me with a returns docket to put on the broken tv to send back. It was picked up a day later. br /The new tv arrived the same day and it worked fine. br /So all in all it took about one week to sort everything out. br /I am pleased with the tv and the service and the price. br /If you check the sony's website for the samer tv it's a couple of hundred pound more.

After much ummming and ahhing we finally settled on this TV (and after reading the Amazon reviews!)Ordered on Thursday night (late) and the TV was with us by just after 8am on the Saturday - amazing delivery! Now, we thought, here goes the hard bit setting it all up - how wrong we were took at most 45 mins (and that included unpacking the new TV taking our old TV off the stand, putting this one on the stand and then trying to remember which cable went where!) It was just so simple to set up, plugged it in switched it on and then off we went. I love this TV, was so easy to set up, menus easy and clear, now we just bought the matching DVD recorder and that was also a doddle to set up and tune in! Nowhere else have we seen such a good (a most user friendly) TV at such a good price. I will recommend this TV (and the seller)to everyone who's thinking of getting a new LCD! 5 stars? should be more!

I did not buy this TV from Amazon, but thought I would share thoughts with anybody looking for a TV and maybe save people some time. There are no reviews on the internet for this particular size, trust me I have looked. "What HiFi" (sound and vision magazine) did not even know the 37" was released in the UK. br /Anyway, TV easy to setup and functions are simple to get the hang of. Up and running in 5 minutes. br / br /Picture: Excellent- Only watching through freeview and dvd. Handles motion pretty well but some TV channels are a tiny bit blurred, while others are brilliant. This is down to signal and rubbish Scart cable and not the TV. DVD's quality is excellent. br / br /Sound: Excellent- Sound very clear and there is no distortion if you crank it up. br / br /Looks: Very good and somewhat classic (mine grey model). If you want something flash then maybe not for you. Overall, looks very vey good and very good build quality. br / br /Final thoughts: I bought this TV because the 32" model was given five stars in What HIFI, and every other Sony they reviewed also got 5 stars. So I decided to take a chance esp with the price level. I have not been disappointed and am happy with every aspect of this TV. Previous people mentioned about delay if turning on from stand by...? This does not happen to mine. I would suggest that you spend an extra 20- 30 on a DECENT Scart cable or even better HDMI. br / br /This is an excellent TV and I would recommend it to anybody looking for a new Plasma/LCD. br /
