br /OK Good points br /It works very well with the Ipod. The Dab rocks where I am in Kingston upon Thames... the FM signal has always been bad round here. br / br /Bad points br /Screen is tiny. br /Also when playing the Ipod - you don't get any clock. br /You cannot change the brightness of the screen at all br / br /But the main problem for me is that it does not remember the setting you set the alarm for. i.e if you set up the Alarm as DAB then listen to the ipod to fall asleep to... the alarm will wake you up with the IPOD. You can have it set as beep and it will remember that. Very shoddy interface design. As it's a claimed feature I phoned Intempo and they are aware of this as a problem and have no plans to fix it for future models which is pretty poor. br / br /Unfortunately it's deal breaker for me - so it's going back. br / br /

Simple set-up, great looks. Simple to use too - even the resident technophobe likes it. br /The DAB reception is crystal clear, far superior to the DAB system it replaced. I have no trouble with reception, and only need the aerial for one particular local DAB station. br /Only four stars because for some reason the iPod tray doesn't like one of the flock of iPods we have in this house : the Nano 4GB does not charge unless waggled about to the right position, though it does play. Yet the Nano 8GB and the iPod Classic both work exactly as advertised, so it could well be a problem with the Nano rather than the Intempo. br /My recommendation - buy it, you won't be disappointed !

I got this a few weeks back, and im very happy with it. br /Easy to use, pretty self explanatory. br /Looks good, DAB FM aux input and not bad for playing your ipod too. br / br /I agree with other comments about its use as an alarm clock, it isn't great, so if your buying it for that function... go for another product br / br /The sound quality is acceptable. Its not the best out there, it wont fill your room with "warm rich tones" :) But for you average joe customer its plenty good enough, and you can crank it up and it handles it well. br / br /In summery, its a nice little bit of kit. Buy one why don't you!

I bought this a couple of weeks ago it sits in our kitchen and my has it on constantly it does everything it should and the sound quality is surprisingly good, I bought this for the digital radio and Ipod function but I don't know if it is because I live in a rural area that we can only pick up BBC digital radio staions but thats not the fault of the unit, my wife listens to a local FM station and the quality is pretty good and the Ipod function is very good, and i like the fact it charges your Ipod too,on the negative side, the ariel is a bit awkward and I can see it breaking easily, and the display could be a bit bigger but other than that I am very pleased with thus purchase

Super response and delivery from Amazon. Within minutes of unpacking both the dock and a new classic 80gb ipod the system was up and running. The sound quality was amazing for just 99. At high volume both the treble and base were distortion free. Simple to programme all the bits and pieces for the DAB radio whose sound clarity is superlative ( helped by being only 4 miles from the transmitter ) Super value for money highly recommended.
