A couple of problems June 23, 2008 D. Sloan (Oxford, UK) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have to say that I'm pretty happy with this, although the main reason I got it was to use as an alarm clock, and the lowest volume setting when using as an alarm is far too loud, and is likely to wake everyone in my street. br / br /A better solution would be to allow the volume level to be set, or to use the volume when it was switched off (firmware update...?). br / br /Apart from that, it works well and looks good. br /
it does exactly what it says on the tin June 11, 2008 J. M. Chalmers 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
A dock with a DAB radio. Fantastic. Works perfectly, sound great, don't even need to extend the aerial out at all to receive perfect reception of all stations, so remains neatly folded behind unit. Great product, if you are thinking about buying this product and end up getting a dock without a radio, you will regret it!

I was going to have "CRAP!" for the title for my review so I could get a comment from the Intempo helper, but that would be such a very bad thing to do. This unit it ace; looks nice, great size, fine sound and multifunctional. My only gripes are: short cable (but you can get a longer one anywhere) and more niggly, the lack of response to the remote control. Could be a duff battery, but it'd nice to be able to utilise all the functions of the remote (and there are plenty) without standing right up next to the main unit. br / br /Anyway, buy one people, 'tis a fine bit of kit.
why didn't I find this one first? May 31, 2008 Mrs. T. Timberlake (UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Having brought many different ipod speakers of all costs I have to say that this one is the best so far. Sound is crystal clear. I live in an area where it is hard to get a good radio signal but even this has impressed me. br / br /If you want some good speakers these are a must. Very stylish looking not bulky like many
Almost perfect May 29, 2008 Greek bearing gifts (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Good looking piece of kit and worked fine out of the box except that the DAB reception was appalling until I read the instructions and extended the aerial. I have a Pure DAB radio and that manages fine with a much shorter aerial. Pity as it detracts from the otherwise great looks. br / br /Mains lead is too short as already stated several times. br / br /Sound quality is really very good indeed and the remote functions work very well on the ipod. br / br /Instructions are faintly patronising but at least it seems they were written by someone whose first language was English! br / br /So first impressions very good indeed.
