Get up and running with these great headphones September 29, 2008 Kj Mclaughlin (Berkshire, England) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've been using these for about 4 months now in the gym and when running outside. They are excellent. The fact that they are pretty much sweat and waterproof makes them perfect for exercise. br / br /They do stand out a bit, but I wanted something functional, and lots of people have said they look quite funky. br / br /I'm sure these will last me a good while longer, but as soon as they are done, I'll be buying another pair. These are well worth the asking price. (I paid 14.99 for my pair but would pay more)
Great Headphones September 28, 2008 Meadows (Somerset. UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased a pair of these headphones in December 2006 as a gift for my husband. br /He does quite a bit of running and has over the years opted for the headband style of headphones as the are easier and more comfortable to wear. br /Most of his headphones are good to start with then after no time as all they wear out. br /He was really pleased with these headphones so to be on the safe side I ordered a second pair at a later date just so he had another pair at the ready. br /The first Sennheiser PMX70 headphones have lasted 21 months before the wire broke down, which is pretty good for the amount of use they have had, so now hubby is off running with the brand new (spare) set. I will now purchase another spare so he has another one at the ready hopefully in another 21 months. br /

i bought a pair of this headphones primarily for the gym when i went to Singapore on vacation over 2years ago. i typically go to the gym 5times a week and it has definitely survived the sweat test! Highly recommended!
excellent sport headphones September 23, 2008 P. Mangat (London, UK) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The other reviewers here had it exactly right - these headphones are lightweight, comfortable, provide good bass and volume + are hard to dislodge whilst exercising. A class above all those bud earphones discarded in recent years. Excellent.
Stable and comfrotable sport head phones with excellent sound !! September 17, 2008 Mr. Rj Robles (Trowbridge, UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've have been trying to find a pair of headphones suited for use when running. I have tried JVC, SONY, KOSS among other. My requirements are; br / br /- Comfort br /- Hassle free use; fed up of headphones becoming dislodged !! br /- Convenient cord design br /- Sound quality br / br /The PMX70 fit the bill perfectly and I couldn't fault them. br / br /The neckband design is flawless and ensures that the sound is delivered comfortably into my ears whilst prohibiting them to become dislodged. br / br /Quality seems fine. I think they will last if stored carefully. The cord isn't that thin Sony rubbery stuff that begins to peel away after a while. br / br /The cord design has been well thought out. These use a single chord (YEY!!). The chord exits the headset just below one of the ear pieces which can then be fed conveniently into the neck of your t-shirt. Sennheiser also provide a clever little clip which secures the cord to your t-shirt whilst allowing a little slack for head movement. Cord strain is minimised. As a runner this was a well received by me. Previous headphones I have tried would dislodge from snagging on my t-shirt or if I turned my head slightly. This clever little clip solves this problem as well as reduces strain. THANK YOU SENNHEISER! br / br /Cord length is ample and it terminates in a right-angled 3.5mm stereo plug. The plug is not gold plated but I doubt anyone would be able to tell the difference if it were. br / br /From my needs, sound quality is not as important for a pair of headphones I want to use purely for exercise. In this respect I wasn't expecting anything special. However, I am really impressed with the PMX70s. I expected them to be slightly harsh and lacking bass, however the EQ is extremely balanced and bass is plentiful but not overpowering. I do not have to put my MP3 player on full as I did with other (more expensive!) headphones. br / br /Not sure whether noise cancellation was a consideration in the design but this is not important to me. I have road tested these and I did not find noise a problem at all. br / br /The green colour seems to be an issue with some reviewers (and my wife apparently!!). I agree that black is more neutral but the green is not that offensive. This shouldn't be a deal breaker for most people, especially considering the great design and sound. br / br /Overall, I recommend these to all who want music while they exercise. They are excellent value for money considering their features against a price point of 16 (ish). br /
