...especially when used correctly - MR.R.SMITH - with all due respect, you may be a beginner, but this is a SD 'HC' card and as such, needs an 'HC' reader, - HC stands for HIGH CAPACITY in case you did not know.

Purchased this card to use with the Canon G9. The Canon software on the MAC will transfer images from the card while installed in the camera, but the card is not recognised by the MAC while in a card reader. Looking at the transcendusa.com site, there are drivers for PC but not MAC. My compact flash cards are recognised fine using the same reader.
