5 out of 5 stars Best Nimh I have ever used.   August 5, 2008

I bought Fuji finepix S9600 last month and was looking for some nimh. I was previously using Camelion 2200 Nimh, Enegizer 2000 Nimh with my Nikon digicam. One of my friend recommened me to use try duracell. br / br /These are perfect and better than any other brand as these allow me to take 200-300 pics easily mostly without and sometime with flash.

Bought these to replace 4 x AA Uniross 2700mAH batteries. The Uniross were approx 18 months old and would hold charge for around 8 hours before being totally exhausted - regardless of whether they were used in my camera or not. br / br /These batteries are great. Charged via my Uniross Sprint 1 hour charger, these have held their charge for approx 2 weeks now, still supplying my camera with enough power for rapid flash charge. Camera is a Canon A700 with LCD on - it demands a lot of power to recycle the flash. br / br /Definitely recommended over Uniross.

I bought 5 packs (of four) of these and I have to say that they are the best I've bought so far. I've always gone for Uniross as they did the job and were fairly cheap but the charge used to go quickly in my digital camera (which has no traditional viewfinder). These Duracell batteries held their charge for about four times longer than I would have expected any of the Uniross ones to have done and I got almost 500 photos over 4 days on just one pair (I usually carry 6 batteries on that sort of trip). I've checked them all and there hasn't been a single bad one either. Really pleased and would recomend them to anyone wanting a good quality but affordable rechargeable battery.

If you worked out what it costs per unit of electricity to use disposable batteries, you'd buy rechargeables to fit all your portable power needs. These ones seem to work well.

5 out of 5 stars easily rechargeable   September 4, 2007

Duracells rechargeable batteries are some of the only ones that actually do what it says on the box - recharge easily. All you need is a type A charger for standard [AA] batteries, the batteries, a socket and a couple of hours time. Once charged they last for ages even on my power-guzzling digital camera. They are very tough and mine have been through a lot since they were bought and still they are going strong. Apart from being strong on the outside they are also very well made on the inside and can be recharged over and over again without ever getting tired. So if you have a type A charger and a need for some good batteries then get these because they are really the top of the range ones.
