Ixus 75 is amazing July 25, 2008 Mr. R. J. Heaps (UK) I got my Ixus back in 2007 and I can honesly say I cannot fault it. Its small, its light, it has great image quality. the battery lasts for ever and I love the big screen on the back. The shutter lag is also non-existent (Canon probably say 1/250 of a second or something). If you're looking for a good, small, fun digital, go for it!
Great camera, but shop around July 8, 2008 N. Batcheler (London United Kingdom) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Well I followed the advice of the other reviewers and bought this camera, and I have to agree with everyone else, it's a great camera. Mind you, I also followed the advice of one reviewer and bought it from Dixons (yek!) for 129 delivered! It seems that Amazon aren't always cheapest, and now that they've started supplying some stuff (including this camera) via third party suppliers you don't neccessarily get the great service that we've become used to so it might pay to shop around. Still a superb camera though!
Very pleased July 4, 2008 Lisa R (London) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I brought the camera a couple of months ago ready for my holiday. I was very pleaseed with how easy it was to use and had a good play around with all the different functions, they really do make a difference so make sure you try them out. I have one small issue and maybe I just haven't read the full info on the camera but I can't see anywhere on the screen where it shows you the battery life left. Saying that it did last me for about 10 days (approx 115 pictures) but then just stopped with no warning. Still a very good buy and would recommend it to anyone else, everyone that has seen mine has commented on how nice it is and how well the photos have come out. I almost forgot to mention how great it is to have such a large screen, brilliant for looking back over your photos. I've included some in the photo gallery if anyone is interested in seeing the results.
