Really great little camera, I am completely useless at taking photos, but all the photos I have taken on this camera are great. Really easy to use and fits nicely into my coat pocket, so I can take it anywhere. My husband was so impressed he bought one as well.

This is a great point and shoot camera for nights out or any occassion not warranting an SLR. br / br /It takes amazing pictures even if you are not exactly holding it steady. It has a great range of features that are so easy to play around with and use, completely idiot proof. You don't have to know anything about camera's and the more you use it the more you grow in confidence to try some of the features. br / br /I have a proper camera for taking proper photgraphs but in terms of 'everyday' use this camera is right up there with brilliant picture quality and depth. br / br /Definitely recommended for pretty much anyone

Having previously purchased an Ixus 40 two years ago I felt confident that the range quality would carry through into the new Ixus 70. Functionality and performance are the best I have found at this price point resulting in excellent images and a particulalry impressive Macro function. Sadly, the Ixus range has been through a thorough corner cutting overhaul. Build quality, previously a standout feature, has suffered enormously. Metal replaced by plastic,, machined parts replaced by more plastic. Cheap plastic buttons and controls. I was incredibly disappointed with the flimsy build quality and lightweight casing more suited to a free with catalogue camera than something you've paid good money for . That said, it's the pictures that count and this camera is more than accomplished in that respect. Just don't give it away as a present. It won't look like you spent much.

I bought this compact camera so that I could take a quick shot and put it away quickly without drawing notice to myself and spoiling the moment. It's fast, sturdy and very easy to use and takes excellent photo's. I bought a Kingston 2gb SD card to go with it. Overall it's well worth the money.

Awesome Picture quality and easy to set up! br / br /DO NOT BUY THE Pouch thats on offer with this camera. It WILL damage camera's screen! br / br /Overall 4 stars from me!
