Parrot CK3100 bluetooth May 3, 2008 Mr. Scott Brown 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Fitted this into a VW transporter T5 08. I needed to get an SOT lead to get it to fit, 20 from local halfords (they are car specific bt mine said BMW on it!). It looks a bit daunting but there are about 5 plugs that can only go in one place. I had a bit of a problem that the unit was left live all the time, as none the power feed that go to the stereo are fed from the ignition. So the orange wire to the parrot needs to be wired to another point. The black/blue wire that plugs into the aircon that is seen when the stereo is removed works fine, I just pushed the spade connector in and cable tied it securly. It took me about 3 hours with all the ignition faffing about, and I have no car electrics experience. Works well syncs easily with my phone and the voice command works well. Only 4 stars as the microphone volume is slightly quiet to the person you are calling, but I don't think any worse than any other car kit I have heard.
Excellent CK3100 April 13, 2008 C. Vaudin 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Just bought the CK3100 and fitted it in about an hour. Wiring quite straight forward, hardest bit was fitting all the wires back behind the dashboard and radio. Works perfectly. I checked out the Parrot website where you can enter your exact car model and it gave me a couple of tips regarding the wiring for my Renault Laguna(ie. swapping the red and orange fuse wires). There is also a forum on there, giving help on installation and pairing with your phone if you get really stuck. br / br /Anyway I think the CK3100 is fantastic and would definately recommended it. At the moment I'm like a big kid and can't wait to get in my car and make and receive calls!! Sad I know!!
Very good product but need better instructions! April 11, 2008 K. Godfrey-porter (UK) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I have been looking for a handsfree kit and I was recommended the Parrot 3100. I order the product of Amazon, I was suprised that it only cost 80! The delivery was very good and well packed, it did look complicated with the amount of wires which came with the product but the connections only go on one way. br / br /I did find the instruction book very confusing so I ignored the instructions and guested! It only took me 3/4 of hr to fit the product properly to my Peugeot 306 but you should make sure the product says goodbye when ignition is turned off otherwise it won't save your settings. I wasn't aware of this so I rang Parrot's hotline and they were very helpful and reliable if you have any questions. br / br /So far I haven't had any compliants about the quality of the Parrot from the callers on the other end so I am very impressed with it!
Parrot CK3100...installation April 2, 2008 E. Cubbage (Berkshire UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This kit is so easy to install....believe me! br /I fitted it to my VW Passat in less that half an hour, it was that easy. Look at the installation diagrams and they will confuse you. Get the right radio keys and take the radio out and the connections will speak for themselves, there is only one way they will fit, it really is that easy. br /A fantastic bit of kit that works really well. Worth the money. br / br /

I brought this through amazon nice fast delivery br /Easy to fit (once I got the stereo out ) All the cables were supplied take out the two iso fittings from the stereo, fit the two supplied in there place, then fit the two from the stereo (the ones you pulled out)into the sockets on the new cables, these connect to the blue control box which you hide under the dash some where. br /Fit the display on the dash with one of the supplied brackets (the mic can sit on the top of the display)run the cable from the display and the mic back to the blue control box job done. br /Pair up the device and away you go the sound quality is great far better than other kits I've used. br /Easy to set voice dial, see your phone book etc br /In fact a great bit of kit
