Small, simple machine. Brilliantly engineered May 28, 2007 Alan Moore (Glasgow) 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
A combination of the Lawn Expert book, Amazon reviews (thank you people) and Qualcast's excellent website led me to this unit. br / br /For 4 years I've been wrestling a 'hova' over 3 x 25m square ('small' according to Qualcast!) split-level lawns. The difference using using this little mower has been a revelation, its a virtual mini powerhouse. br / br /The cutting is incredibly accurate, in fact I'd stick my neck out and say its impossible to tell the result apart from neighbouring cylinder cut lawns. Height adjustments effective and accurate. Rotaray blade does does not spray grass everywhere on spin-up/down, moulded handle makes the unit easy to transport (take note Flymo!!) and the wide cutting base makes for fast work. br / br /Do not be fooled by the apparent simple design of this little mower when lifting it out the box. The end-result punches well above it's weight. br / br / br /
Very Very Good May 27, 2007 Mrs. Jean Henderson (Scotland) 14 out of 14 found this review helpful
As we have a field rather than a lawn (that is, it is bumpy, a bit weedy, and has the odd rabbit hole), it has always been difficult to make it look reasonable. An old - heavy - electric mower proved ok but was not strong enough. A new - very heavy - petrol mower kept cutting out on the bumps, and was always difficult to restart because of the string-pull-herculean-strength thingy. This mower is the BEST, light, fast, even on slightly damp grass, eats everything!!! Now, for the first time, visitors commented on how good the garden looks and asked if we had treated the lawn with something. Highly recommended, especially as hardly anyone has a more difficult (rural!) garden than ours!! also good price, excellent fast delivery. Thanks.
Handles May 23, 2007 T. McMaster (Orkney) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
[...]I bought..I spent two hours faffing with the handles which would not connect dispite all my efforts...but once I cracked it,, took it for a canter round my ~not yet cut this year lawn~ What a breeze, it took everything in it's path, docks included, and this on a wet really rather long lawn.. br /It's light and small enough without grassbox to store easily..I'm glad I succumbed to temptaion br /Its a lean mean mowing machine, and comes well recommended
good but one little problem November 21, 2006 slim shady (uk) 23 out of 24 found this review helpful
bought this mower a couple of years ago.no problems untill till the bearing burnt out on the top of the motor assembly.only wish the bearing carrier was made out of metal not plastic. br /overall though i may buy it again as it does an excellent job of cutting my grass.
Great Little Mower September 25, 2006 Mr. C. J. Walley (UK) 58 out of 60 found this review helpful
My house only has a small garden yet the landlord issued me with a lawnmower that I can only describe as a Hummer painted orange. The thing was so huge and heavy it left ruts in the lawn and manouvering from the back garden to the front required me to move the car out of the way. On top of that it had no grassbox so after mowing the lawn the garden and everything within a half mile radius was covered in grass. br / br /What attracted me to the Easi-Trak 320 was the price and usually I would have jogged on by had it not been for the positive reviews other buyers had given it. I like buying things based on non-biased reviews so ordered it via Express Delivery and it arrived the following morning. br / br /Opening the box the first thing that struck me about the mower was the quality of manufacturing, it is very well put together for its price. Assembly is quick and easy requiring just two wingnuts and two screws to attach the handle. br / br /One of the good features about this mower is its lightweight, I found I could carry it around with one hand easily which meant I could bring it through the house and not move the car out of the way. Out on the lawn this is noticable too, manouvering the mower is easy. Mine got a tough test on it's first go as the grass on my lawn had grown so high postmen were struggling to find the house. However the 1000watt motor cut through the jungle like conditions no problem at all. br / br /Yes the grass box is small, but that's a trade off for its light weight and small size. The height adjustment is awkward too, you have to adjust each wheel individually but that's worth the cheap price, but neither of these issues should be a problem if you maintain your lawn regulary, and you probably will with this mower because it's so easy to use. br / br /I have tried quite a few mowers before and have to award this one five stars because for it's low asking price it does everything perfectly.
