1 out of 5 stars poor and frustrating   March 13, 2008

I bought this and it simply didn't work well. The main problem was that the material the roller surface is made from just pilled and balled up giving a crappy finish and requiring to be cleaned up every 5 minutes.

The coverage and usage was exactly the same as i would get from a normal cheap roller. This roller was too heavy to fit onto the extension stick and so you have to do everything by hand with a 1kg roller full of paint - not really that comfortable.

All in all, a complete waste of money.

5 out of 5 stars what a piece of kit   February 28, 2008

i bought this system cos im fed up with having to be up and down loading paint onto either a roller or paint pad. i wasnt sure it would work but i was desperate so had to give it a go.
How pleased was i that i did.
It makes painting almost a pleasure- just load up your paint into the roller and off you go for about 2 walls of a big room.
It seems best if you water down the paint a bit but not a lot or you lose coverage.
No more spray or drips- no need for dust sheets or protective gear.
My only criticsm is that the extending handle they provide is quite flimsy and when the roller is fully loaded it is heavy.
i managed to emulsion using 2 coats my large bedroom including the ceiling all in 1 day- amazing!
Highly recommended.

5 out of 5 stars Best Buy I Ever Made   December 12, 2007

Saw this advertising on the tv shopping channel and thought it looked great and to easy to be true. Tried and tested the cheaper versions around on the market like this but they really do not compare to this model at all.

I bought this one after a while and after reading the instructions, decided to buy cheap paint so I wouldn't need to water it down as much since cheap paint is very runny anyway. Filled the runner up and hey presto, I could paint with no drips, no mess and had a very happy carpet that usually gets covered when I am painting. It did exactly as I wanted it to and expected it to.

The edging tool is not the greatest but when that is just a bonus tool I wasn't bothered about it as the main roller itself worked wonders.

1 out of 5 stars A waist of money   December 3, 2007

I brought this as i thought it would make decorating easy, i was wrong, firstly you almost break your fingers trying to release the lid where the paint goes in which after using is fun as everything gets covered with paint when it does release, It took ages to get paint to come through and the edger is rubbish doesn't release any paint, and when got paint in it weighs a ton, If anyone was thinking of this i would suggest looking around for a cheaper make as just seen a different one in betterware catalogue at 10..
