Surrealism at its best July 7, 2008 K. Stokes (Newcastle, UK) This is one of the funniest most original shows i have seen in a long time. It follows the hangman (Berry) and his assistant (Fulcher) into their bizzare world of Ladies, Whiskey, Bears and Pleasure. The show was only shown once on BBC Three and the dvd release has been a long time coming. I would say if your a fan of Berry and Fulcher in Might boosh or darkplace then you will enjoy this. And be prepared to have the theme song in your head for days!!! br / br /
I can't believe this was never re-shown June 19, 2008 W. Nelson (UK) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is one of the funniest shows you probably never heard of. If you're a fan of Spaced, Nathan Barley or Green Wing you'll love this.
Whiskey! Hilarious and finally released! May 27, 2008 Mr. Chris Caldwell (Larne, N.ireland) 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
Snuff box is the sit-com come sketch show from Matt Berry of Darkplace fame and Rich Fulcher of Mighty Boosh fame. It's totally insane off the wall ramblings of mad-men. Basically they work as hangmen who frequent a Gentlemens members club and this is interspersed with various sketches and songs all interspersed together in the end. If you love the Boosh or Drak place you should love this. br / br /A petetion was started a few years ago to get this released and i guesss something has finally worked as now it has a release date. br / br /hopefully this could lead to a second series but if not at least now people can get it in full instead of having to watch random clips on Youtube.
Original Comedy March 21, 2008 L. Darke (Doncaster, England) 14 out of 15 found this review helpful
This is one of the best comedy series ever to have been written. It is surreal, dark, imaginative, and very, very funny. If you missed it on BBC3 then you have missed out thousands of yet-to-be catchphrases, quirky visits to the past, Rich Fulcher's constant barrage of filth and the general debauched rantings of 2 madmen let loose with your money. Cannot wait.
