This is actually a very good show to watch, i only recently started watching it. Season 4 is very well written and its very entertaining just like the other 3 seasons. It's worth buying as every time you watch it gets better. br / br /P.S. Amazon are selling it at a far better price than HMV who are ripping you off.

I agree they maybe some bad points about any show but give atlantis a chance it is usually in the 1st 5 years of any show if they have that long to try to impress their fanbase and despite the fact that yes they bring characters over from 1 show to the other but that is usually to improve the show and that is what i think they have done in introducing Amanda Tapping's Col Samantha Carter to the show they made the storylines more impressive i really think that the whole season was great and even though it turns out that they are replacing Carter with Robert Picardos Character Richard Woolsey next season i will still be watching the show.

Finally, season 4 is on DVD :) I agree that this season wasn't as good as the first three, but when does any TV show meet the standard of the first series a bit later on? On I can say is that I love Atlantis, and my opinion will not change for season 4. LOVED IT!!!

This is just the same! I appreciate this series but its far below the first 3 seasons. Being a huge fan of SG1, Atlantis was an amazing spin off for any die hard fan! But this season is just a very big let down, stories are often incomplete, the writers make up bad new story lines and twists (And yes the Writer Strike has affected it), but this is just poor quality at what it once was! br /Only buy this if you are a true Atlantis fan!
