I ordered the Panasonic DMR-768 on 17th Oct 08 and received it at 9am 18th Oct 08, couldnt believe it, well done Amazon. I then installed the recorder and had it running within an hour. Very good and so pleased I can now record the freeview stations which I couldnt with my old Panasonic DMR 10 DVD-Ram recorder.

Panasonic DMR-EX768EBK - 160gb Hard Drive DVD Recorder - With 1080P Up-Conversion Freeview Playback - Black br /What a fantastic bargain! I bought this from the Amazon Warehouse for 126 plus deliveryas a "used - As new" item. Delivery was made in only 2 working days, and I can't tell the difference between this and a new one. The product itself is brilliant with a really good picture and excellent sound quality. I can't believe that I got such a good deal!!

I bought this machine a couple of months ago and although basically it works well the freeview recordings leave a lot to be desired, poor quality replay I have found, having had Sagem before I always had excellent playback, but this at times was difficult to watch, so I am discarding it and buying a sony.
