I bought this for my technophobe mum because she doesn't have one and i thought she might like it. firstly, i was amazed at how small it is, packs away quite nicely and doesn't take up all that much space. secondly, it was the easiest thing in the world to set up, literally a plug and go job. it works brilliantly well. so simple to use. if you have cable tv too you just plug it through that and the player takes over when you switch it on. remote is great too, the important buttons glow in the dark which isn't an important thing but makes a difference. the player makes barely any noise and i'd really recommend it to anyone.

Having read all the reviews on this item on Amazon, I decided to buy this DVD player (I owned a Cyberhome before, which unfortunately has just died after 5 years!). Very easy set up. To change to multi-regional, take DVD out of player, press menu (but don't expect anything to come up on the TV screen, as it doesn't - my mistake!!) As soon as you have pressed menu on the remote, press 1, then press 9. A grey box will appear, press the left back arrow in the centre of the remote until 0 appears, then press enter. All done - all DVDs worldwide can now be watched! Excellent buy and makes my living room look much tidier as it is so small!!

I purchased one of these earlier this year, due to the fact that I currently own region one dvds (region one covers Usa and Canada); my old Cyberhome is on its way out with the drawer continously closing automatically. This was not multiregional when I got it, but made it multiregional. I purchased a Cyberhome CH-DVD400 player and when I received it found that it was not multiregional, AAAGH! the frustration! but dont panic, Dont start ringing the nice people at amazon complaining that they have misadvertised a product! if your having the same problem, heres how to reset the factory settings. br / br /I found that this way worked br / br /1)Press 'menu' br /2)Press '1' br /3)Press '9' br /a box should appear on the screen with a 2 in it br /4)Use up down keys to select region '0' (this will make the player region free. Imagine, you can play any dvd from anywhere! Magic! br /5)Press 'enter' br / br /And your spent

BOUGHT THIS MACHINE AS A REPLACEMENT AND IT MORE THAN MET MY REQUIREMENTS,TERRIFIC LITTLE PLAYER WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND
